SCAR REVISION

Scars resulting from trauma or previous surgery can sometimes be improved. Revision procedures range from topical treatments, to injections, to re-surfacing, to surgical adjustment of the injured area. The surgical procedures are often performed under local anesthetic, but sometimes anesthesia is required. Patients go home the same day, and some wound care and activity limitations are suggested.
