FACIAL FRACTURE REPAIR
Fractures of facial bones can be debilitating or potentially disfiguring,
and can result in pain, numbness, difficulty chewing, or vision problems.
The most common fractures include those of the nose, cheekbones,
and eye sockets.
During the surgery, the bones are replaced to the normal position
and held with small hardware or external splints. The procedure is
done under general anesthesia, and patients stay one night in the
hospital or are discharged the same day.
Please call us and set up a consultation, and we'll discuss the procedures
with you in more detail.
If you are considering any reconstructive
surgery, please schedule an examination and consultation with us.
We'll discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure with you, and
help you determine the best next steps.
