Dr. Luong has been a plastic surgeon since 2003. She is board certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery. After finishing her general surgery residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, she received plastic surgery training at the Mayo Clinic. She remained on staff as a Plastic Surgeon at the Mayo Clinic for several years. In June 2005, Dr. Luong joined Midwest Plastic Surgery

Breast surgery and cosmetic surgery are the focus of Dr. Luong's practice. She performs breast augmentations, breast reductions, and offers most types of breast reconstruction including tissue expander/implant reconstruction, latissimus-dorsi/implant reconstruction, and free TRAM reconstruction. She is actively involved with the Fairview Breast Center and frequently lectures on topics affecting women's health.

Dr. Luong offers a customized approach to cosmetic surgery and performs such procedures as blepharoplasty, facelift, breast lift, abdominoplasty, and liposuction. She is especially interested in procedures that minimize incisions and decrease recovery time.
