FOREHEAD/BROWLIFT

Procedure Description
A brow lift improves drooping or hooding eyebrows and wrinkles in the forehead and results in a more rested appearance, lifted eyebrows, and improved forehead skin tone. It is sometimes combined with rhytidectomy (facelift) to improve the appearance of the upper face.

Surgery and Recovery
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia or sedation, and patients go home the same day. Bruising and swelling to subside in 7-14 days. Scars are left inside the scalp area just above the forehead skin, take 6-12 months to mature and frequently results in numbness of the scalp behind the scar.
